Postcards

In 2011, there were several earthquakes and a tsunami that devastated part of northeastern Japan, killing more than 15,000 people, and accounting for more than 300,000 victims, including devastating the Fukushima nuclear power plant.

This humanitarian catastrophe required the solidarity of all Japan as well as the help of many friendly countries.

With my sister and friends, we created an association, Yell Child, to help the affected children.

Here is the symbolic image of the association :

The association went to the evacuation centers immediately after the earthquake and handed the books to the children in the disaster area to distract them and give them hope. Since then, the association continues to donate books every month. These books are varied (dictionaries, illustrated books, classics of culture, etc.).

To contribute to the purchase of these books, I make postcards with my drawings, and the association sells them to finance these books.
